We tailor therapy to your unique needs. While it generally involves relationship-building, assessing and exploring concerns and setting treatment goals, therapy can be as versatile as the clients seeking it. Our therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, culturally-competent, inclusive and anti-oppressive where it is entirely led by you and is geared toward your greatest potential.
Trauma-Informed Practice (TIP) is a framework we use to help clients overcome adverse or traumatic experiences. Being trauma-informed means we understand how trauma works and are ready to respond to its impacts by cultivating physical, psychological and emotional safety. TIP allows us to collaborate with you through strengths-based approaches, creating opportunities for you to regain control and power, and re-establish connection to the world around you.
